Japan Sidewalk With a Chicane to Slow Down Speeders

I just love the Japanese, they always think of the funniest, craziest things. Their way of thinking is the total opposite than that of Americans. Check out this sweet chicane (like on a racetrack) to slow down people speeding on their bicycles.

Slow in, fast out

I Like Funny Bumper Stickers

It was Sally Struthers who once said, "Do you like funny bumper stickers? Of course, we all do." I think that is what she said, I'm not sure, because I was too busy thinking about how she really let herself go physically. But I do like funny bumper stickers. We all do. There's nothing like a good chuckle to make you forget about the old lady who pissed you off for driving 11 m.p.h. in a 45 zone. Seriously, when are they going to make it a law that once you're a senior citizen you have to prove that you can drive every year to keep your driver's license?

The good folks (I'm just assuming they're good, they could be awful) at odometer.com have posted 31 hilarious bumper stickers for all your chuckling needs.

Click this here link, I dare you

Popular Brand Names That Are Mispronounced

Twelve Well-Known Brand Names That Are Often Said Wrong

NYDAILYNEWS.COM has published a list of 12 popular brand names that folks are simply just pronouncing wrong -- at least they are in America. The companies include Porsche, Givenchy, and Fage (the yogurt company).

I worked at Fage for a while, and let me tell you, I wouldn't eat that disgusting yogurt if I were you. The filling machines had to be shut down at least twice a week to clean out the machines to get rid of the mold. Also, a former co-worker found fleas in the cups that she was feeding into the machine to be filled. How many cups were sent out with fleas in them before she discovered it? Probably thousands. And, on top of that, the maintenance men would work on the machines without wearing beard nets like all the other employees were required to. The unskilled wrench turners were given special treatment by the president of the company for some reason. So, if you ever eat FAGE yogurt and you find a beard hair in your cup, rest assured that it belonged to a grubby, disgusting, maintenance man. Yummy! Enjoy!

Richard Matt Shot and Killed in New York

Richard Matt Killed, Will Woman Get Reward?

New York Senator Chuck Schumer said that police dogs picked up the scent of escaped convict and murderer Richard Matt after a woman received a knock on her door that she didn't answer. Seeing as how the woman's tip is what led to the the inmate being found and ultimately shot, the woman deserves the reward of $50,000 that the New York State Police offered for information leading to either men's capture. Well, they caught him... dead.

When it comes to handing out rewards, however, government agencies are quick to throw out the offer to get people looking for "the bad guys," but they are slow when it comes to actually dispensing the money. Government agencies and police are experts at red tape and lies and it is difficult, if not impossible, for people to collect their rewards. If I had to guess, I would say that the woman is not going to get the reward money and the police will say something along the lines of: "We didn't capture him within five minutes of her tip, so she doesn't deserve a reward."
